TRUKA is an accommodation capacity in the center of Belgrade, much like an extended hotel room. The modest floor area of just 20 square meters packs some of the necessities for a comfy overnight: a large bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a kitchenette. The bulk of space is taken up the large comfy double bed, and the reaminder is apportioned between the large square ottoman and the chest of drawers that provide an illusion of wardrobe space. TRIOKA has an interesting choice of decorations, which serve to hide a somewhat plain ambiance: a cheap replica of a late 18th century table clock, a pair of rather stout bedside lamps and two oil canvas paintings steal the show. As the two outer walls of the room are windowed from floor to ceiling, TROIKA is fairly bright in the daytime, and the soft hanging draperies enhance the snuggly feeling.
Studio apartment TROIKA is located in Lower Dorchol area, not far from the notorious night out street Strahinjica Bana (also known as the Sillicone Valley). The neighbourhood has a number of supermarkets, chemist’s shops, bakeries and exchange office, where you’ll always be able to find sundries. Bohemian Quarter Skadarlija, the Danube Wharf and Kalemegdan Fortress are just ten minutes away on foot. On street parking is available, but limited to three hours.
All in all, if you are looking for an overnight spot in central Belgrade for two, TRUKA is a possibility.
