Nice apartment Amena in Jelene Cetkovic, Belgrade-Serbia
Description
As a studio apartment for a day in Belgrade, Amena is definitely one of the better things that happened to affordable short term rentals. Modest in size, it is still an agreeably and intimately furnished studio with a fair bathroom and a somewhat less fair kitchen (which is nevertheless decently equipped). The space is organised around a large double bed – a shelf, a drawer and a dining table surround it – and quarter of a dozen floor and table lamps make the atmosphere snugly and agreeable. the fifth floor view over Dorchol is certainly an interesting one.
Amena’s bargaining chips are its location and its price. A busy tram-line and a bus hub are less than 100 feet away, whereas a short (at worst) ten minute walk gets you to many of the important landmarks (i.e. Knez Mihajlova, Terazije, Skadarliya etc.) The neighbourhood hosts a bunch of shops, bakeries, restaurants and Baylonee green market with fresh produce.
